Dental Assistant
Yuka graduated from dental assisting Level I and II at Algonquin College in 2018. Yuka thought long and hard about what she wanted in her job and career, as she was looking for it to be challenging, fulfilling and rewarding. She also loves working directly with patients and this is exactly why she chose to become a Dental Assistant.
Yuka is from Japan and came to Canada in high school to learn English. After getting settled and more comfortable in her new home, meeting a variety of people from different cultures, she was excited to start her next chapter here. Along the way, she met her husband here and he is extremely supportive, making her laugh and provides lots of encouragement. They love to travel and explore the world whenever they can and visit Japan at least once a year to spend time with her family. In her spare time, she loves to try local restaurants, especially those where she can experience new and different cuisine. Don’t hesitate to ask her about it.
