Seble was born in Addis Aaaba, Ethiopia but moved with her family to Ottawa at the age of 7. She grew up in a large extended family with 2 brothers, 1 sister and lots of cousins. Seble describes their family celebrations, complete with nieces and nephews, like a “big, fat Greek wedding”.
At Gloucester High School as a co-op student in 2004, Seble had the opportunity to experience working in the dental profession. Better yet, she worked with Dr. Plant. Later, graduating from CDI College as a certified dental assistant and with a year’s experience under her belt, Seble joined Blackburn Shoppes Dental Centre officially in 2007. She says, “I hope to pursue a long-term career in this field.”
In her spare time, besides spending time with family and friends, Seble likes taking long walks enjoying what nature has to offer. She plays field hockey which is known as “Genna” in the Ethiopian language Amharic.
Seble loves to travel (with her Gravol handy), and dreams one day of seeing Sweden, Australia, Japan and South America….
